My name is Katerina, originally from Russia, and for the past 4 years, I have been living in England. I moved to the UK to expand my expertise in international large-scale projects and pursue a second Master’s degree in Interior Design at the University of Brighton. I believe continuous learning and expanding one’s knowledge are vital for professional growth, regardless of experience.

With over 16 years in the design industry, I have gained a deep understanding of global business practices while working with both British and international companies. My passion for design began in my childhood when I first started learning how to build houses, lay bricks, and paint walls during summer practice at school. This sparked my love for creating spaces that serve others and paved the way for my future in design.

After completing my degree in Environmental Design, I enrolled in an Architectural University where I studied everything from static and dynamic compositions to the science of color and ergonomics. Following my education, I gained practical experience at various architectural firms before earning my first Master's degree in Design Management.

In 2014, I founded Mi Design Studio in Moscow, where we’ve successfully completed numerous projects, including apartments, country houses, and public spaces. We've also had the privilege of working on high-profile projects for major Russian corporations, such as Rosatom, Severstal, Vnesheconombank, and Sogaz.

Now, in the UK, I’m excited to continue broadening my knowledge and making impactful contributions to the design industry on an international scale.
