My name is Katerina Monosian, originally from Russia, and for the past few years, I have been living in England. I came to the UK with the primary goal of studying and obtaining a second Master's degree in Interior Design at the University of Brighton. I strongly believe that learning and expanding one's knowledge is a never-ending journey, regardless of the number of years of experience one has.

Over 15 years ago, I graduated from my first university with a degree in Environmental Design. However, my interest in creating spaces began during my childhood at school, where, during summer practice, we were taught how to build houses, lay bricks, and paint walls. Ever since then, I have felt a sense of pleasure when creating spaces with my own hands that serve others. Later, I enrolled in an Architectural University and experienced the magic of the process, studying static and dynamic compositions, the laws of balance and structure, color science, and ergonomics. After graduation, I worked in various architectural firms to gain practical experience and develop my skills in interior design. A few years later, I obtained my first Master's degree in Design Management. Following this, I opened Mi Design Studio in Moscow, which has now been in operation for over seven years. During this time, we have successfully completed numerous projects including apartments, country houses, and public spaces. Additionally, we have had the privilege of working on projects for major Russian corporations, such as Rosatom, Severstal, Vnesheconombank, and Sogaz.
