"The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever."

- Jacques Yves Cousteau

The project centered around creating a versatile and adaptable structure on the Brighton Pier. The initial objective was to design a compact dwelling on the pier, catering to tourists seeking accommodation during the summer season. The subsequent task involved repurposing the same building during winter to facilitate the research endeavors of scientists focusing on various aspects of climate change. This multifunctional approach aimed to provide a space that served both the needs of summer tourists and the scientific community, enabling diverse studies in the field of climate change.
